With Eric’s kids in for the Thanksgiving holiday naturally pony rides were in order. All three of the pasture mates were fresh and feral. We saddled up Reno for the pony ride part of the event. Aedon isn’t a packer so I felt it was best to just ride the one horse. He was hesitant to move off from his friends but he was asked to move whether or not he wanted to or not. The other two I had haltered and held next to the feeding station. After Reno got in gear and quit balking and things were rolling along, I let the two mares go. They took off running and bucking up and around the pasture giving us quite a show. So it was, one slow mover and the two fast as the wind. Horses are really neat animals.
