Last Sunday, I finished the clay model of the smaller version of the 1.25 life size bronze of Barbaro. I set off for Louisville early on Monday and delivered the clay model to the Bright Foundry. They made the molds within the week and shipped them to Loveland, Colorado for casting the sculptures in bronze. The molds arrived this past Wednesday and Art Casting of Colorado’s staff began the task of making the bronzes. I’ll be meeting with them next Monday to go over the schedule for producing the sculptures. And I’ll be checking on another project which we’re wrapping up.
One of my favorite places, Loveland is gorgeous all year round, this time it will be a pleasure to be there where the air is drier than Kentucky on the 25th of September. It’s been raining cats and dogs.
