My Morgan clay model was up on the modeling stand ready for inspection by his owner. The trainer who drove the horse to his first World Championship was in attendance too, so I had some good input on the model at this stage in the game. I like the clients to see the piece before I go any further it makes it easier to adjust the length of neck, stance of the horse etc. We went over the two busts of his grand mares and now I can go forward with finishing them up. We had a great time discussing horses as we toured the studio space with the molds and clays and waxes and Barbaro 1.3 life size. Afterward I hurried out to catch the White Queen for a late afternoon ride. All in all a great day.
