I remember well driving a trotting pony at speed on a race track. It was a thrill with these game little razor fast horses. When I started my new series of works I sat an armature in front of me with no expectation of what I was going to make. In the world of cast bronze expense is a big factor. Will it work, does the work justify the expense? I decided I needed to push those concerns to the side and just create. So the only requirement would be a quick study in any subject that came to mind, no more than 8″ in one dimension and no more than 8 hours spend on the model. I like the idea that 8 X 8 results in a prime number. Heady stuff a prime idea. Here is the first piece in the series: the Roadster Pony.
