A warm bowl of tomato soup and soda crackers was ready when I got home from exercising the Woodford Hounds at Shaker Village. A welcome taste after a cold morning out in the field with the hounds. I rode Scooter again. He did all the work and took great care of me while we were hacking and galloping up and down the hills. Probably hitting the brakes more than I should I could feel my back tensing up and starting to hurt. With a good 90 minutes of goings I’m bushed. When we stopped and regrouped it was a pleasant moment chatting with the others about all kinds of things. Then off we went again. A clear, crisp fall day in the hills of Kentucky. What a wonderful experience.
